Yes, this is me with my cat… I am also a dog lover and have owned dogs all my life,  until I became a cat owner (or should I say my cats own me!)  I’ve had a lifelong passion for animals, which has led me to create this dog training blog to help other pet owner’s enjoy having their pet as a member of the family. I know from my experience as a previous dog owner that a well trained dog is a joy to be around.  Beyond being well socialized, trained dogs are unlikely to jump up on people, and are less prone to biting someone. They also tend to be  more relaxed in distracting environments.

Well trained dogs are also more likely to stay with the same owner, as opposed to being abandoned to the pound. Training your dog  strengthens the bond you both share and also helps teach them boundaries, thus making them more comfortable around humans.
